ASP Comments June 11Class
I talk about presentations. I think a good presentation is very elaborate. Preparing is the most important thing to make presentation. I reflect on my presentation. Next, I talk about "Meeting Simulation The Desert Island". It is true that I have never experienced this situation, but I may experience similar situation in the future because I want to visit Asia as a backpacker. If I put in a difficult situation like this, I want to have a lighter. This is because a light of a lighter heal me and it can make a bonfire easily. I can warm by the fire. I think the life of the island is primitive life.
ARW Blogging Assignment 6
The most useful approach to use in critically analyzing The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemmingway is Santiago as the Archetypal Hero. This is because a lot of people live in pursuit of money, honor and so on. However, the old man acts in his belief and does not give up fishing a big fish. Moreover, he regards the sea and the fish as the revered things. I think a common person cannot catch up with his emotional strength.

A Sandalwood Incense
Today,I got incense of sandalwood. The smell of a sandalwood is suitable for using in Summer. Graceful smell is peculiar to sandalwood. More often than not I use incense in my room. I am fond of incense. For example, a Japanese yew,aloes and sandalwood.

Today,I did a presentation. I presented College As a "Subversive" Institution in Meiland. I explained why universities are subversive institution. I thought there are many scholar who think critically in university and they are not easy to accept a public opinion. I should become skilled in a presentation and explain logically.

ARW Blogging Assignment 5(OMS)
The main characters in Old Man and the Sea are Santiago, a fisherman and Manolin, a boy who helps him.
Three adjectives that describe Santiago are tenacious,strong-willed and gently. For example,Santiago fished alone in the skiff in the Gulf Stream and he had gone eighty-four days now without taking a fish. If I were him, I would stop fishing. I cannot endure like his hard life.Moreover, I think he is very gently because he recommend Manolin to move another boat which can get many fish. I consider he is considerate.

In this class, I made short presentation about disney World. It was very fun for me. I inserted images and you tube in my presentation. And,I presented my presentation in front of classmates. I felt that I should improve my techniques of a presentation.

I was taught how to do a presentation. A good presenter has three characteristics. First,structure of presentation is easy to understand. Second,content of presentation is substantial. Finally,a presenter have a good delivery. When we do a presentation,we should relax and look at the audience. And,there is an order of presentation.

The pieces of information I found in sources to use to support my thesis and topic sentence ideas for Essay 2 are as follows. The supporting piece of evidence that I found for body paragraph 1 is a quote from a book about lie.The author is a psychologist and he is famous for study of lying.He said there is a harmless lie in life.I agree with him and I am interested in his idea.

Communication activity The desert survival problem
I think the people who was left in the desert should stay there because to move desert is use too much their physical strength.If they stay there,they can keep their energy.I am surprised that a cosmetic mirror is useful in survival situation.It reflects sun light.I think I should use natural things to live in survival situation.

Who is the first person saved first from the diamond mine?
I were very worried about choosing the person saved first from the diamond mine. That was the reason was twelve persons had different background and they were different age.I decided that the persons should be saved in order of age and have a sickness without thinking whether the persons had good background or not.That was the reason was that persons were younger,the more they had possibility of life and the persons had a sickness should be treated gently.Moreover,I thought it didn't make sense to consider about the person's background under this situation because it was not fair.
So,Tom Jones should be saved first because he was the young and had asthma.Second,John Jones should be saved after Tom because he was youngest of all.I thought the last person was Geoff Tims because he was oldest of all.I thought the saved person might not be tormented by a guilty conscience about the persons who couldn't be saved because the way of choosing was very clear and fair.

ABOUT VIDEOS
~The shocking way to run effective meetings !~
I think time managements is very important in meetings.The longer a meeting,the more people are tired.So I think Matchpeg Brainstorming is very effectively.
~bad discussin~
In bad discussion,the members don't concentrate on it.One parson don't listen to others idea with her head down.Another parson seems not to be interested in this discussion.And I think members lack the will to do it.And the leader forget the topic which they talk about.
~Good discussion~
In good discussion,all of the members attention to speaking parson.They seem to listen to carefully and take an active part in the discussion.The leader asks members by turns and discussion moved smoothly.

I really enjoyed today's class because I watched interesting movies about Ken Tanaka.After I watched the videos,I was conscious of my way of chiming.And I knew "huun and hee in japanese was strange for foreign people.I think that japanese tend to answer unclearly because they don't want to hurt others feelings.And as a result,I think japanese are considered to be an irresolute.
TODAY'S DISCUSSION
Women's population of Japan is 50%,but women works only 10% at the government.Why is that?
Generally speaking,many people in japan think women should do houseworks. I think that many houseworks and children care prevent women from working at government.This is because working at government is very hard to do such many things.Another points is that the percentage of men at government are higher than women from the beginning.So it is difficult for women to take part in the male community.I know the woman who work at government and become Norwegian prime minister.It was true that she was an able person,but she rabeled by men at government because she was woman.

I think good discussion is that members listen to others opinions carefully.I watched the Bad discussion and I noticed that the member talked when they want to talk.So leader couldn't get their opinions in shape.On the other hand,in the Good discussion,they talked about their opinions by turns and speaked calmly.So they could think otheirs opinions deeply and discussion advanced smoothly.

Brog Assignment1 "How do college teachers present information?"
According to Meiland,a "good college teachers" present information in the following way.First,I think good college teachers present information let students consider.I think that good college teachers want students to investigate the source,time and form of the information.Second,good college teachers judge information whether it is rational or not.They don't rely on information on the basis of authority.Finally,high school teachers teach students the way of arriving answers.While,good college teachers teach students the way of thinking.In Meiland's opinion,I agree with choose information rationality because there are many information today like internet.
